Here is the awesome recipe for the famous “Edo Japan” Teriyaki sauce.

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup part Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce
  • 1/2 cup part white sugar
  • 2  cups parts water
  • 3-4 Tbsp corn starch (as needed for thickening)

Directions:

      1. Place Kikkoman Teriyaki Marinade & Sauce in a medium sized pot.
      2. Add water.
      3. Add sugar.
      4. Place on high and bring to a boil, stirring occasionally.
      5. After all the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is boiling, dissolve cornstarch in a small amount of water and stir into boiling mixture.
      6. Stir on high until desired thickness is obtained, may need to put more corn starch in.
      7. Place on low once desired thickness is obtained.
