Crepes is basically a very thin cooked pancake. There are many variations to crepe recipe. This is a simple recipe that can be turned into both savory and sweet crepes. In this recipe, Instead of raspberry sauce, you can use strawberry sauce or chocolate sauce with banana. For the savory variation, try fried mushrooms and melted cheese. Also remember that It is always better to let the batter stand for a while in the fridge.

  • Beat eggs in large bowl until frothy.
  • Add Milk mix well, then add the all remaining ingredients and beat until smooth (if the mix is too thick the crepes will end up thick, cut mix with more milk to get the right consistency) You can store in the fridge overnight and cook for breakfast.
  • Heat a non-stick pan (non stick is the key), smear on a little butter in pan.
  • Pour a big spoonful of the batter in the pan, tilt the pan to get the crepe mix to cover the surface of the pan.
  • Cook until bubbles start to burst and the surface looses its shininess, underneath should be golden.
  • Flip and cook other side until a light brown color.
  • Garnish with what ever your imagination can come up with.
