Banana Bread

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup Butter or Margarine
  • 1 cup White Sugar
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 cup Mashed Ripe Bananas (About 3 medium sized ones)
  • 2 cup White Flour
  • 1 tsp Baking Soda
  • 1/2 tsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 cup Chopped Walnuts or Chocolate Chips
Instructions
  1. Cream butter and sugar together.
  2. Add eggs one at a time, beating until smooth. Add Bananas.
  3. In second bowl, stir flour with baking soda, baking powder, salt and nuts or chocolate chips.
  4. Add to banana mixture stirring only to moisten.
  5. Transfer to greased 9x5x3” loaf pan.
  6. Bake at 350F for about 1 hour until inserted toothpick comes out clean.
  7. Let stand for 10 minutes.
  8. Remove form pan and place on rack to cool.
